There is literally nothing that I am more stoked about this Halloween than the seemingly inevitable release of a slice of gory gaming glory that is Namco's Splatterhouse. The new game simply keeps looking more and more incredible and despite some previous reservations due to a change of developers, this newest trailer coming out of E3 is quite possibly THE BEST game teaser I have seen in years! It's our first look at Rick and Jennifer in addition to the signature Splatterhouse villain: Biggy Man (see insert)!
In case you can't tell I am a HUGE Splatterhouse fan and guarantee that the game and those who have helped to make it a reality will be playing a substantial role in this year's Strange Kids Club Halloween festivities. Keep your eyes out for some in-depth interviews, guest contributors and exclusive art in the coming weeks -all leading up to the big October countdown! Get ready to get bloody.
My head nearly exploded. Thats amazing. I almost bought an old school Neo Geo system at the mall for $80 and an extra $30 for the Splatterhouse cartridge. But it was a bit too steep for me. Apparently you can play the original via the downloadable old school games feature on the Wii. But the red blood has been replaced with green. Lame-o-rama.
It is quite beaUtiful to see a potentially successful horror remake, even if it is a video game. I've watched it at least 6 six times this morning alone.
Yeah, I downloaded the Wii version and its "eh." I've heard, however, that the new game will come with all three previous games as unlockables. Score!
If you're a monster kid who never grew out of your adolescent love of B-movie flicks and genre toys, you'll be right at home surfing the Strange Kids Club blog. With sections dedicated to trailers, video games, wrestling, and cartoons, it's got a little something for everyone who's young or young at (black) heart.
Strange Kids Club provides a visual smorgasbord of art and animation devoted to horror, the fantastic, and the mischievous kid in all of us who still insists sugar-packed cereals are a major food source and better come with a toy or else.
Strange Kids Club is an awesome repository for pop culture nostalgia. Lots of images and video links and great articles on trailers, cartoons, movies and wrestling. Lots of fun and the design of the site is fantastic.
Strange Kids Club is a safe haven for all the geeky kids who got up super early on a Saturday morning to watch really good cartoons, who could sing The Hulksters theme song, and who stayed up late that night to catch horror programming and other assorted B movie fare. If you are one for nostalgia and were a child raised in the 80's, then Strange Kids Club should be your one stop shop for reliving those childhood memories.
I have literally become obsessed with Strange Kids Club. I can't get enough of what you're dishing out and every time I visit the site, I'm reminded of everything in this world that makes it worth experiencing.
