Have you heard...?

It's a party and everyone is invited!!

In lieu of another post today, I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for their taking the time to wish me an awesome birthday today on Facebook. This has most definitely been one of the most kick-ass birthdays I've had in years and its in no small part to all of you. In particular I'd like to thank my partner in crime, Lesa, and our lovely daughter, Amber, who were sweet enough to snag me copies of Phantasm II and Tales from the Darkside: Season 1 (reviews will be forthingcoming, haha). A special shout-out also goes out to Jon David Guerra for his "re-interpretation" of that classic Creepshow image from Father's Day in which yours truly has been handed his last desserts by Strange Kid.

Today also marks the beginning of A Month of Rue Morgue which kicks off with Rue Morgue #103 (see insert) and the inclusion of this very blog in their Roadkill section. I haven't had the chance to actually see the issue as of yet, but I'm really psyched for this little slice of strange to have been chosen. In addition we'll also have an exclusive interview with Art Director and Painter Gary Pullin PLUS yet another Gruesome Giveaway that will see one lucky winner walk away with a 1-Year Subscription of Rue Morgue (more details to follow)!

So in summation...
  1. Thanks again for being so cool
  2. Stay tuned to win FREE SWAG
  3. Run out and buy Rue Morgue #103 today
  4. Prepare for yet another 365 days of mind-blowingly freaky, geeky or otherwise kick-ass strangeness!!!

Woohoo! Rock on, Strange Kid. Glad to hear your birthday was fun. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Tales From The Darkside in particular; it's one of my all-time favorite shows. And a chance for a one year subscription to RM? Oh boy, I'll be sticking to this blog like the Brundlefly. =)

Glad to have you on board, Joe! If you're gonna be like a Brundlefly, though, just make sure not to leave all your bits and pieces scattered across the clubhouse... :)

Thanks, Belle, I'm really excited to share it with you guys as well. His cover work on Rue Morgue is amazing as are his more traditional gallery pieces.
