For many October means something more than just jack-o-lanterns and horror movie marathons on TV, it's also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is a condition that can affect both men and women with over 192,370 new cases expected to be reported this year alone, 40,000 of which will be women. This year hits particularly close to home for our friend, Ben Scrivens of Fright Rags as his friend, Leisha, is currently battling the disease. Only 34 years old, Leisha and her husband are struggling to keep their house, pay the bills, and take care of their two small boys.
For his part, Ben has decided to release a Special Edition T-Shirt (see insert) to help raise funds for Leisha and her family which will be made available throughout the month of October starting today. All proceeds will go directly to Leisha and her family. If you'd like to purchase one of the shirts, simply visit Fright Rags' We Belong Alive section. At the very least, be sure to retweet or share this story on Facebook to your friends and family— help support a 'ghoul' cause!
