As I eagerly await my first screening of the imminent Wolfman remake (reviews be damned), I'd like to share this insanely brilliant animated pilot for Nickelodeon entitled The Modifyers. Created by Chris Reccardi (Ren & Stimpy, Meddlen Meddows) and Lynne Naylor, the 12-minute short is beautifully animated, directed and scored with resulting in a final product that surpasses many of Nickelodeon's current programming. With a uniquely stylized art direction (mixing old London sheek and Austin Powers spy tomfoolery), the reason this series was never picked up will forever remain a mystery with me.
