It never ceases to amaze me how incredibly awesome Fright Rags is not only as purveyors of quality horror shirts, but as a company as well. Seems like they will be hosting 2 nights of Double Features this weekend at The Dryden Theatre on Friday and Saturday which includes appearances by Tom Atkins and Fred Dekker respectively.But wait... there's more! Fright Rags was also cool enough to commission two unique posters for each event which they'll sell at each show with the remaining prints to be sold online this Sunday. The first print (see insert) showcases a collage of The Fog and Halloween III Season of the Witch (both of which Tom Atkins starred in) and the second (see above) is a simply gorgeous mashup of Monster Squad and Night of the Creeps designed by Jason Edmiston that just exudes that old school feel.
I, for one, am dying to get my hands on the Monster Squad/Night of the Creeps poster for the clubhouse not to even mention that its signed by Dekker himself. Now this is how a horror movie showing/premiere should be... if only someone in Hollywood would take note.
This is flippin' awesome!!
