| The Happy Undertaker celebrates today, the birthday of the one and only Vampira (Maila Nurmi), with an extended strip dedicated to the dark mistress of televised horror. Inspired by the work of cartoonist Charles Addams (The Addams Family), Vampira haunted TV screens all over the US in the 50s and early 60s as Hollywood's premiere (and first) horror movie hostess. Here's to you Vampira- may you continue to haunt us from beyond the veil!
