Creative Spotlight: Marc DA CUNHA LOPES

Welcome to the strange world of Marc DA CUNHA LOPES, Parisian photographer and purveyor of the bizarre. Represented by C. Juliette, LOPES' work seems to revel in the surreal exaggerations of both scale and anatomy often juxtaposing the two in a unique hybrid of mythology and modern art. This includes vignettes of giant cockroaches, a fashion-conscious little girl and her giant white rat, and an ode to Lovecraft himself [see above and left].

And just in case that isn't enough to make you look over your shoulder at night, you can find more of LOPES' work on the Behance Network including some photographically phenomenal advertising work.

Dude, already?! Damn I'm off my game, I got diddly. I have been sketching a lot more (or at least more than usual). Can't wait to see what you have in store.

  1. Seeing your work this past weekend inspired me. Definitely got me more motivated to work harder than I usually do. I'll keep ya updated! can't wait to see those sketches!
